inner ball joint separator on the steering rack
To dismount the steering rods from the steering rack.
Mount the tool and centre it properly with the hole in the bolt covering the top of the ball joint stem threads.
Tighten the bolt and further tighten 1/4 turn. Hit the bolt with a hammer, retighten 1/4 turn and hit again. The rod should be free.
